It's difficult to use eyewear as it boscures the eyes, but you did a decent job with the mouth and the characters shows some emotion. Anyway the pose is unnatural and the shadows are horrible, while the background just makes them worst. 6/10 but with a good potential to improve.

Nice mouth/lips, good lipstick color, good hair, but the eye shadow is no-no. Neither the color nor the shade of it suit the character. Also, shadows conceal the eyes and make difficult to read her gaze. 7/10 all in all.

Just had some racial surgery and now got gray eyes and black hair, and a jacket on the tank top, and changed the framing to remove some of her bossom from it.

Nice concept and well acheived, but, the tattoos are completely out of character, and the black hair roots make your hair look like a wig, which looks kinda humorous. Say 7/10.

Lipstick mismatches everything. Neither the style suits the mouth nor the color green suits well to redheads (try a pink, or just natural with gloss, or maybe a blue if you feel lucky and don't plan wearing eyeshadow). 7/10 because expression and pose are OK. |

An interesting face, but the avatar is overworked. Lighting casts too many shadows and the face becomes too texturized. Also I hate when shadow render the eyes invisible for no use. Anyway, it's original, so I'll give it a 7/10.

Interesting, strong features. Interesting eyes and explosive lips, but it's kind of hard to figure what the expression means, looks like she's "doing nothing", but that's nothing women (can) do, LOL. Will give 8 of 10 but coudl be improved if expression had a clear meaning.

Doh, apparently in the process of making my character more Asian-looking by removing the freckles, i somehow removed the background too... 
Seriously, at first I thought that some players were messing with their backgrounds on purpose, but now it is apparent it's a bug (in my EVE? How??).
The interesting part is that my portrait looks OK without a background. |

That aside, this character has got interesting face traits, albeit the nose went over the top and it's too pointy. Will give it 6 of 10 for having an unusual face. |

That's looking down onto people, exactly.
Albeit it's very dark, the pose is very expressive. The head tilt and specially the smile hit it. The aviators suit well to character too, but the dark skin looks unnatural as it doesn't fits to the face traits. Will say 9 of 10, -1 for the uncanny valley skin, that's 8 of 10.

Blue and red is not red and blue.
I see what you did with color theme but the outcome isn't quite succesful. The red hair looks weird comapred to the blue hue. Also you overdid the blush and probably i would swap its color with the eyeshadow (pink eyeshadow, slight blue blush). Also the lips could use a hush of coral pink adjusted to be slightly darker than the eyes. Will give it a base of 7 of 10 but could use a lot of trimming.

Dunno what's your trade, but i like this avatar. Simple and no thrills, a fitting background and clothing depict a humble capsuleer just earning a few bucks chewing down rocks. It all fits enough to not becoem a dull ID photo, so will give it a 7 of 10.

Houm, interesting stuff.. at first glance, looks like a well done realistic character, but upon close rinepciton (I always go for the 512 x 512 version) I noticed that somehow you ran out of red dye after tinting your beard and eyebrows... with an outcome that looks silly. Red is not your color. Started as 8 of 10 but -1 for the red eyebrows so that's 7 of 10.

@Lina Alarr. There is a line between sexy and ludicrous, and your boob shot shatters it. Not the one that does it worst, but does nonetheless. Also there is a line beyond which avatars' breasts look fake, specially because of the clothes wrapping under the breasts. Your size also crossed that line. |

Thanks for the compliment... I resized her with various shirts on and tried to push it to the point where the cloth physics begin looking unreal. Then shrinked a bit as they say that the CQ renderer renders an additional cup size (haven't checked myself).

The lighting is a tad extreme but works enough, just the bakcground has got an apparent light source and the model doesn't matches to it i.e. the background looks fake. As for expression, she's not looking at us, obviously, but we can't tell wether she's looking at something nor why. Will break the unwritten rule to not rate low to not get low ratings, and will say 6 of 10 because of boob shot. |

That's some great use of make up to make your eyes stand out. Albeit black is not the color that suits best to green eyes and the overall effect is quite dark, if you aimed to look Gallente, you did so. The face traits anyway are Caldari and so you look just as sweet as a carnivore sheep can achieve to look. What could be improved? The nose bridge is too thin IMO, and lighting and background could match better, specially the random-looking background. Light glares from the left side look meh. Also would suggest to play with the head vertical tilt until the eye sockets were fully lit and compensate with camera tilt to keep the same visual angle for head and shoulders. Last, would try to spin the shoulders so they look a tad wider and better proportioned to the face, which is not sweet enough to match such thin shoulders.
Will give you 9.8 of 10 because it's a very good portrait and only needs some minor tweaking to be perfect.

First things first: that piercing interacts badly with the beard. It doesn't looks like a piercing, rather as a crumb from your last meal. 
Other than that, lighting kid fo works as the expression is strong enough to not miss the hidden eye. You look somewhat condescending, which probably was the idea... The "icecream" hairdo, i'm not buying it, it looks silly. So all in all will say 7.5/10. |

Ivy Romanova, still strikes me as Vladmir Putin lookalike...
Eyeshadow and pale skin work to give a certain "undead" appearence, the pose is just misterious as in "don't know what it means". The portrait works better as a whole than in the details, it is a tad surreal and menacing and very recognizable, so will say 7.5/10.

On the portrait: I like the pose and how you use the glasses for good effect. For some reason, you don't look Gallentean and the crest doesn't fits. Also I'm not a fan of tattoos but yours is mostly hidden and I guess it woks... so will say 8/10 and will *not* detract any point because of tattoo.

Very, very "girl next door"... which is a moot merit for a character living 23,000 years in the future.
I like the angle, albeit it's more like a "surveiilance/security camera" angle than an actual portrait. The piercing, I don't like piercings nor tattoos, but I'll have to give it a go for the secodn time today... Will say 7.5/10 without penalty for the piercing, but all in all the image is bit dull.

Back to red hair, that's good. The pose is nice, your eyes are properly eating souls and the color shows clearly. I like a little touch and maybe you can improve it; the left strap of your tank top curves in a suggestive manner as to hint your bosom, I would try to zoom out a bit to fit into the frame one inch more of strap+bosom. There is negative space, and then there is crushing negative space... I would rate 8/10 for being bold and experimental, but it's so bold that the experiment has gone wrong. 8-2= 6/10, it doesn't works, not at all.
PS: try background n-¦ 1, there is a black line on the left that visually suggests a cast shadow from a fake "corner". Some avatars aligned with it, with interesting results.

It's been a while since chiaroscuro portraits were fashionable, and so this one looks original among the current batch. Maybe it's a tad bland (I'd suggest a bit of looking into the camera) and I would explore other interactions between the spotlight on the backgorund and the silhouette. The pose and setting works well, but the mouth gives me a weird impresion, as if you were sad rather than stern. In the context of the pose, scarrs and et cetera, it looks funny. In addiiton to the mouth, maybe you could do something with the eyebrows, moving the inside corners towards the nose makes for a interesting range of expressions, from angry to ironical to focused.
Would say 8/10 for the concept and being recognizable, but it losses when seen bigger so will say it's more like 7.5/10.
